Real Time Temperature

All 3D products can be connected to a PC for real time display. The readings shown opposite were as they were at 4.37 pm, when this page was produced. Each channel shows name, reading and alarm status (all of the above were "OK").  A real time graph is also available. This allows you to check all your temperatures at a glance.

Alarm

If a channel turns orange, a pre-alert state has occurred – this gives you warning time to take corrective action.

If an alarm is triggered, the channel turns red and an alarm signal is sounded, an email is sent and an optional SMS can be sent.

Alarm acknowledgement

An alarm has to be acknowledged. The user will login and acknowledges the alarm. With this acknowledgement the user has to enter the reason for the alarm. The user who acknowledged it, and the cause of the alarm are added to the audit trail.

Afterwards a corrective action can be given to this alarm. This corrective action will be added to the audit trail.

Summary

The image opposite shows the report function, with the report summary. Along with the time and date, the temperature of each channel is displayed. A summary is automatically produced by clicking on the "summary" button, which, as you can see opposite, shows the number of readings and the highest, lowest and average temperatures.  This data is ideal for presenting your data to third parties and is easily printed out into a report form.

Alarm reports & audit trail

This allows you to produce reports of all alarms within a specified time period. The audit trail will provide you with data such as the alarm date/time, who acknowledged it, the cause and the corrective action.

Multi-file Reports

The multi file utility is shown opposite. It enables the user to collate several different sets of data, tabulating and graphing all together. For example, if the temperatures of a fridge were monitored weekly for a year, all the files containing the weekly data could be collated to show the year as a whole, with graph, table and minimum, maximum and average temperatures.

System Configuration

This allows the administrator to configure the following parameters: unit name, channel name, time and date, log rate, temperature alarm limits, door alarm, alarm delay, alarm repeat post alarm acknowledgement, door alarm, add/remove channels etc. to enable you to customise the software to your specific needs.
